Chat Commands
You and your mods control the timer from Twitch or Kick chat.
!subathon start- Starts or resumes the timer
!subathon pause- Pauses it
!subathon add 10m- Adds time
!subathon remove 5m- Takes time away
!subathon set 2h- Sets the time left
!subathon reset- Starts over from the starting time
Write times like 10m, 1h30m, 45s or 1:30:00. A plain number means minutes.
Streaming Software Setup (OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, etc.)
- Add a Browser Source in your streaming software (OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, vMix, Lightstream, PRISM Live Studio, etc.).
- Paste your copied subathon timer URL.
- Set width to 800 and height to 300.
- When you go live, type !subathon start in chat. Mods can add, remove or pause time too.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if OBS closes or the browser source reloads?
The timer is saved inside OBS, so it comes back where it was. While OBS is closed it keeps counting down, like a real deadline. Subs that come in while it's closed can't be seen, so a mod can add them with !subathon add.
What happens when the timer reaches zero?
The timer stops at zero and the health bar shows K.O. New subs no longer add time. A mod can bring it back with !subathon add or !subathon set, or start a new one with !subathon reset.
How do I start a new subathon or change the starting time?
Type !subathon reset in chat. The timer goes back to the starting time in its URL. Until the timer has started for the first time, a new starting time in the URL applies on its own.
Do I need to log in or connect my account?
No. The timer reads subs, gifts, Bits, Kicks and mod commands from your public Twitch and Kick chat, the way a logged-out viewer sees them.
