A game-style HUD for Twitch and Kick, made for IRL streams. Every sub, gifted sub, Bits cheer, Kicks gift and raid adds cash to the counter by the amounts you set, under a clock in your time zone, next to a mini-map where an arrow walks city streets, park paths or the real streets around a place you pick.

Chat Commands

You and your mods control the HUD from Twitch or Kick chat with !hud.

!hud cash +500
Adds cash
!hud cash -200
Takes cash away, even below $0
!hud cash 10000
Sets the cash
!hud cash reset
Goes back to the starting cash
!hud map park1
Switches the mini-map to a saved place
!hud map urban
Switches to the made-up city; !hud map park to the made-up park
!hud map reset
Goes back to the mini-map set in the URL
!hud walk
Starts the arrow walking; !hud run makes it run
!hud stay
Stops the arrow where it is
!hud indoor
On the Urban and Park mini-maps, puts the arrow inside the nearest building, walking within its walls
!hud outdoor
Takes it back out to the streets
!hud buy water
Buys an item: its price comes off the cash
!hud buy water 3
Buys three of it

Write amounts like 500, 1,500, 2.5k or 1m. !hud cash add 500 and !hud cash remove 500 work too.

Streaming Software Setup (OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, etc.)

  1. Add a Browser Source in your streaming software (OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, vMix, Lightstream, PRISM Live Studio, etc.).
  2. Paste your copied HUD URL.
  3. Set width to 1920 and height to 1080, the size of your scene. The cash and the mini-map sit in the corners you picked.
  4. Go live. Subs, gifts, cheers and raids add cash on their own, and mods can set it right with !hud cash.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if OBS closes or the browser source reloads?

The cash is saved inside OBS, so it comes back where it was. Subs that come in while OBS is closed can't be seen, so a mod can add them with !hud cash +500.

Does it work on IRL streams?

Yes, that is what it is made for. Add it to the scene your IRL feed plays in. If OBS runs on a cloud server or a computer at home, pick your time zone so the clock shows the time where you are. The HUD fits any canvas, vertical ones too.

Does the mini-map show where I am?

Only if you want it to. Urban and Park are made-up maps, picked by your channel name. Real Place draws the streets around the place you pick, from OpenStreetMap; it stays on that spot and doesn't follow you, so pick a general area rather than your home.

How do I start over or change the cash?

Type !hud cash reset in chat to go back to the starting cash, !hud cash 5000 for any amount, or !hud cash +100 and !hud cash -100 to add or take some. A new starting cash in the URL starts the counter over too.

Do I need to log in or connect my account?

No. The HUD reads subs, gifts, Bits, Kicks, raids and mod commands from your public Twitch and Kick chat, the way a logged-out viewer sees them.

Can I switch between places during the stream?

Yes. Save each place with a short name, like park1 and park2. You and your mods type !hud map park1 in Twitch or Kick chat to switch, !hud map urban or !hud map park for the made-up maps, and !hud map reset to go back to the mini-map in the URL. The choice is saved in OBS.

How does the market work?

Add items with a price on the setup page, like water for $100. You and your mods type !hud buy water in Twitch or Kick chat, or !hud buy water 3 for three, and the price comes off the cash with the item's name next to it. If the cash is short, nothing is bought and the price shows with a cross.
