Chat Commands
Type them in Twitch or Kick chat. Each one says who can use it: anyone, or you and your mods.
!feature @name- Mods: puts that viewer’s last message on screen
!feature- Mods: takes it off the screen
!q what game is next?- Anyone: asks a question, or replaces the one they asked
!q next- Mods: shows the oldest question waiting
!q skip- Mods: drops the oldest question without showing it
!q clear- Mods: empties the questions waiting
!q off- Mods: takes the question off the screen
Streaming Software Setup (OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, etc.)
- Add a Browser Source in your streaming software (OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, vMix, Lightstream, PRISM Live Studio, etc.).
- Paste the URL you copied.
- Set width to 720 and height to 240.
- Write something in your chat, then type !feature and your name to put it on screen.
Frequently asked questions
How do mods feature a message?
They type !feature and the viewer’s name, like !feature @senchabot, in Twitch or Kick chat. That viewer’s last message shows up with their name color, badges and emotes, whichever chat it came from. !feature on its own takes it down.
How does the Q&A work?
Viewers type !q and their question, up to 200 characters. Each viewer has one question waiting at a time, and asking again replaces it. You or a mod types !q next to show the oldest one, !q skip to drop it and !q clear to empty the line.
Which messages can be featured?
The last message of each of the last 500 people who chatted since the browser source loaded. Commands, replies and bots are left out, and a timeout, a ban or a deleted message takes it off the screen too.
What happens if OBS closes or the browser source reloads?
The questions waiting and the message on screen are saved inside OBS, so they come back as they were. Type !q clear to start fresh.
