Log in with Senchabot first

Twitch only shares a channel's clips with apps that ask with their own key, so Clip Replay reads them through your Senchabot account. Open it from the Tools page of the Senchabot Dashboard and your Twitch channel and connection get filled in here. For Kick clips only, untick Twitch: Kick needs no login.

Paste this URL as a Browser Source in OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, vMix, Lightstream, PRISM Live Studio, or any software that supports browser sources (recommended size: 1920×1080).

Turn your best Twitch and Kick clips into a show for your break or starting soon scene. Three clips go up on screen, chat votes for one by typing its number, and the winner plays. If nobody votes, one of the three plays at random. Then the next vote starts, and it keeps going until you hide the source. Kick clips need no login; Twitch clips need your Senchabot login.

Streaming Software Setup (OBS, Streamlabs, XSplit, etc.)

  1. Add a Browser Source in your streaming software (OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit, vMix, Lightstream, PRISM Live Studio, etc.).
  2. Paste the URL you copied.
  3. Set width to 1920 and height to 1080, and tick Control audio via OBS to hear the clips.
  4. Tick Shutdown source when not visible: the clips stop when you hide the source, and a new vote starts when it shows again.

Frequently asked questions

Why do Twitch clips need a login?

Twitch only shares a channel's clips with apps that ask with their own key, so Senchabot asks for you. Open Clip Replay from the Tools page of the Senchabot Dashboard: it fills in your channels and a connection that lets the overlay read your Twitch clips. Kick's clips come from Kick's public clip list and need no login, so for Kick alone, untick Twitch and type your Kick channel.

How does chat vote?

Three clips go up with the numbers 1, 2 and 3. Viewers on Twitch and Kick type the number of the clip they want, and each viewer's last vote counts. When time runs out, the clip with the most votes plays. With no votes, one of the three plays at random, and a tie is drawn between the leaders.

When does it stop?

It keeps going while the browser source shows: a vote, the clip, then the next vote. Hide the source or switch to a scene without it, and it stops. With Shutdown source when not visible ticked, it starts with a new vote every time it shows.

Which clips does it play?

Your most viewed clips from the last 7 days, the last 30 days or all time, as you pick: up to 100 from Twitch and 60 from Kick. A clip that played comes back only after every other clip has. The list is read again every 15 minutes, so new clips join on their own.
